United Hospital System Goes Tobacco Free
As the community’s leading healthcare provider, we feel an obligation to promote health and wellness and to create a healthier Kenosha community. As a result, effective July 1, 2006, United Hospital System became a tobacco-free workplace throughout all
of our facilities. This means that no smoking or use of other tobacco products – by employees, physicians, patients, visitors, volunteers, contractors or others – will be permitted anywhere on
the organization’s campuses or United Hospital System sites.
The initiative reflects United Hospital System’s commitment to being a leader in both wellness
and caring for those who are ill, as well as providing a tobacco free environment.
