Sleep Disorders Center

The Sleep Disorders Center at United Hospital System is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment facility designed to evaluate, diagnose, treat and help manage your sleep disorder.

Our trained technologists, under the direction of Alfred Habel, M.D., perform sleep studies on individuals and provide appropriate treatment to those diagnosed with sleep problems. Patients usually spend the night in the hospital’s sleep lab, where licensed, experienced technicians monitor and record brain waves, muscle activity, respiration and heart rhythms while the patient sleeps.
